How the calculation works
Resize factor = original scale denominator ÷ target scale denominator. New dimension = original dimension × factor.
Before you use the result
Works with true ratio scales such as 1:72. Nominal 28 mm and 32 mm miniature labels are not consistent ratio scales.
A worked example
Original scale denominator, e.g. 72: 72 · Target scale denominator, e.g. 56: 56 · Original model dimension (mm): 25.
