Bench & Base is a small collection of free planning tools for people making things. Each tool solves one specific sizing, counting or scheduling task.

How we calculate

Calculations use the formula shown on each tool page. Worked examples are calculated from the displayed example inputs. These are planning estimates based on your measurements; material behaviour and manufacturing tolerances are described in each tool’s limitations.

Check a physical sample

Use scrap material, fold a test copy or measure a sample stack before committing a whole project. No tool can inspect your materials or equipment.
