How the calculation works
Colour A = total × A parts ÷ (A parts + B parts). Colour B is the remainder.
Before you use the result
Use the same unit for both colours. Fractional drops need a larger batch or measured volume; drop sizes vary between bottles.
A worked example
Colour A ratio parts: 3 · Colour B ratio parts: 2 · Total amount (drops or ml): 20.
- Colour A amount
- 12
- Colour B amount
- 8
- Colour A (%)

Results display up to three decimal places. Rounding happens only for display, except where the method explicitly counts whole items.
